Tips on How to Receive Text or Voice Alerts of Emergencies or Weather-related Campus Closings

On behalf of the GSO @ HBSON Executive Board, we extend a warm welcome to everyone for the Fall 2011 semester.

Given the weather condition, please remember to visit the Hunter College website for updates regarding the first week of classes because of Hurricane Irene.

As an alternative, you can also receive text or voice alerts of emergencies or weather related closings on your campus via mobile or home phone and email by going to the CUNY A!ert webpage to sign up.

Please take care and be safe. We wish you much success in your graduate studies.

Welcome to the Graduate Student Organization at Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing!

Dear Colleagues and Classmates,

Thank you for entrusting to us your vote of confidence to serve in the Graduate Student Organization at Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing (GSO @ HBSON).  As a newly formed campus organization, we are open to your inputs and serve as a vehicle of communication with the HBSON faculty.  We will work side-by-side to make our campus life an enriching experience.  The spring term 2011 is almost on the home stretch.  We may be feeling the pressure of pending papers and competing work demands, but let us not forget that there is more to graduate student life here at HBSON.

In these exciting times, we look forward to your participation in the GSO @ HBSON activities. Despite our busy schedules we can make our GSO @ HBSON as one of the best that serves the interests of its constituents. Please do not hesitate to approach any of the executive officer in the GSO @ HBSON, because we are ready to listen. Together we can all make a difference.

Sincerely Yours,

Jorge Prada, President
Fernand A. De Los Reyes, Vice President
Valerie Burgos-Kneeland, Secretary
